More About NOIT

The National IT Olympiad has been running since the 2002/2003 school year. MES is the official organizer and main sponsor of all editions of the Olympics.

The Olympiad is organized in three rounds – school, district and final. During the school round, students demonstrate their project plan, with only students with a meaningful and realistic plan being admitted to the next round. During the district round, students defend their already developed projects, which are evaluated by a district jury in accordance with the adopted regulation. The National Jury approves all the nominations for the final round. The final round includes two stages – test and project protection. The overall score is obtained after summing up the estimates from the two stages. The assessments are made by the National Jury, which also prepares the final ranking.

The winners of the Olympics receive special diplomas from the MES, which can be used for admission to Higher Education. Additionally, prizes are given by various sponsors.
